Hello! My name is Rachel Banks, and I am a passionate graphic designer based in Blacksburg, Virginia, actively seeking a full-time position in the field.
I graduated cum laude from Radford University in May 2019, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design along with a minor in Marketing. I am well-versed in the Adobe Creative Suite, with expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat, and I am currently expanding my skills in After Effects. Additionally, I am proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. I earned my Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) certification through the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) in April 2026.
My strengths lie in logo design, color theory, and key design principles. I thrive in collaborative environments and excel in marketing, branding, and creative ideation. I take pride in my attention to detail, recognizing that the finishing touches can transform a good design into an exceptional one. I approach every project as a unique opportunity to innovate and tell a creative story, and I am eager to contribute my skills and creativity to a dynamic team.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, listening to music, and taking long walks on the beach.
